Roni Griffith, born in Bloomington (Indiana), she’s a successful American singer and model of the 1980s. In 1980 she was selected as a girl "Coconuts" in the popular musical group "Kid Creole & The Coconuts". She was noticed by producer Bobby Orlando who immediately made her sign a record deal with "Vanguard Records". After the first single "Mondo Man" went almost unnoticed, in 1981 Roni Griffith achieved her first international success with the single "Desire". In 1982 with the song "(The Best Part Of) Breakin 'Up" she reached the second place in the US Dance Chart. By the end of 1982, Roni Griffith had already achieved a platinum record and a gold record. After the release of the album that bears her name "Roni Griffith" (1982), Roni's latest single "Breaking My Heart" was released in 1983. From 1983 she abandoned his musical career to devote himself to contemporary Christian art. In 1994 Roni became one of Indiana's most renowned photographers and opened the company "Integrity Productions" to discover and produce new talent.
