Giorgio Aldighieri, born in Vicenza on 20 September 1963, belongs to the noble Aldighieri family of Parma. His musical adventure began at just 13 years old, when he started playing the guitar. With some friends, he formed a band that performed in various parishes and parties in the outskirts of Vicenza. The band's repertoire ranged from covers of Elvis Presley, Beatles to Eagles. In 1982, Giorgio was called as a singer by the local band "Monopolio" and recorded his first album entitled "Giorni d'Estate". During this period, he was noticed by Sandy Dian, owner of the renowned recording studio "Sandy's Recording Studio". Dian introduced him to Maurizio Cavalieri, producer of Firefly and founder of the "Mr. Disc'O" label. Together, they recorded 10 songs, but only two of them, "Just For You" and "Silly Reason", were released a few years later. Subsequently, Giorgio was contacted to sing a song by DJ Piero Fidelfatti, known for his involvement in the musical project "Time" together with Mario Percali and Raff Todesco, who had achieved success with the songs "Can't You Feel It" and " Shaker Shake". Giorgio Aldighieri recorded "Somebody" in the studio under the pseudonym "Video", which reached the extraordinary figure of over three million copies sold, definitively launching Giorgio into the world of dance. In 1984, Giorgio still under the musical project "Time", lent his voice to the single "Don't Stop". The Todesco-Percali-Fidelfatti trio, being impressed by his vocal qualities, decided to focus further on him. Thus, the single "She's A Devil" was born, but this time Giorgio Aldighieri performed as a soloist, using the stage name "George Aaron". From here, other hits followed, including "Silent Smiles", "Robin Hood", "New Sensations" and many others. In 1992, George took a turn in his career by leaving the dance scene to dedicate himself to live music, touring Europe and the United States with his inseparable Gibson J200 guitar. In 2001, after a meeting with Den Harrow, he was persuaded to take part in a tour first in Holland and then in Italy. This collaboration gave birth to "Heaven", a new dance song written by George Aaron together with Mario Percali. The song achieved notable worldwide success among Italo-Disco fans, bringing George back to the center of the music scene as in the 1980s. Since then, George Aaron has continued to record new songs, demonstrating his artistic versatility over the years. His most recent hits include "Fear" (2009), "World Is Out" (2011), "I'll Never Fly" (2012), "Change" (2014), "A Star In The Sky" (2016) and other recently produced singles such as Melody (2023). His musical career is a testament to his ongoing dedication and lasting impact on the international music scene.
