EASY GOING
The "Easy Going" were an Italian disco music group, produced by Claudio Simonetti and Giancarlo Meo. They took their name from the gay Roman local, which opened in 1978 and at the time frequented by musicians and international actors who were in the capital for their films. The "Easy Going" group was formed from Paolo Micioni and the two Roman dancers and deejays Francesco Bonanno and Ottavio Siniscalchi. The first album, "Easy Going", came out in 1978 and contained only four tracks. The most successful single was "Baby I Love You" which climbed the charts all over the world and was usually played in New York clubs. The following year the album "Fear" was released, which succeeded in repeating the great success of the first album. In 1980 their third and final album entitled "Casanova", where Paolo Micioni was replaced by singer and dancer Russell Russell. In the first two albums, as female voices, Ivana Spagna and Tiziana Rivale participated in the project. Claudio Simonetti's voice was electronically camouflaged for the hit "Baby I Love You".
