“Liaisons Dangereuses” were a German band founded in 1981 by Beate Bartel (ex “Mania D”) and Chrislo Haas. This project is considered an influential pioneering project in modern electronic music. The band also included singer Krishna Goineau, member of the Spanish punk band "Xeerox" in the late 1970s. Their first and only album was born from four 10-minute audio cassettes, recorded in 1981. Conny Plank was responsible for producing the album in his studio in Cologne (Germany). The band made several live appearances during the period of activity, during some of which Anita Lane (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) and Hideto Sasaki played together. The single "Los Ninos del Parque", taken from the album “Liaisons Dangereuses”, was the band's biggest success in the underground scene and influenced many Chicago house and Detroit techno DJs. “Los Ninos del Parque” was one of the best-selling underground singles in Germany and was subsequently sampled many times thanks to the distinctive bass line created with the Korg MS-20. The song “Mystère dans le brouillard”, present on the album and on the B side of the mix disc, was sung in the studio by Krishna Goineau and his sister Joanna. After the dissolution of the band, Beate Bartel dedicated herself to the "Matador" project. In the mid-1980s, Krishna Goineau moved to Belgium and took part as a singer and keyboard player in the musical projects “Metropakt” and “Velodrome”. Chrislo Haas passed away in Berlin in October 2004.
