“Telex” are a Belgian musical group founded in Brussels in 1978 by Marc Moulin, Dan Lacksman and Michel Moers. In 1978, the band released various electronic covers including: "Twist à St. Tropez" by Les Chats Sauvages, "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and "Dance to the Music" by Sly & The Family. “Telex” arranged their music entirely with electronic instruments and in 1979 they released their first album: “Looking For Saint Tropez”. Included in the Long Playing was the worldwide hit single "Moskow Diskow". In 1980 they participated in the Eurovision Song Contest and ranked nineteenth. In 1981, they enlisted the American group “Sparks” to write new lyrics. In those years, the band refused to play live and preferred to remain anonymous. In 2008, after the death of Marc Moulin, the band announced their retirement from the world of music and released their last compilation entitled "Ultimate".
