"The RAH Band" is a project created by Richard Anthony Hewson, English producer and arranger, born in Stockton-on-Tees (Teeside) on November 17, 1943. Hewson began in the late 1960s as an arranger and worked with musicians such as Beatles, Bee Gees, James Taylor, Herbie Hancock, Supertramp, Diana Ross, Carly Simon, Art Garfunkel, Leo Sayer, Paul McCartney, Al Stewart, Chris de Burgh, Fleetwood Mac and Chris Rea. Hewson founded the RAH Band (of which he was the only member and which took its name from his initials) in 1977 and began with the instrumental song "The Crunch". He himself played all the instruments himself and the single had a good success in the United Kingdom reaching sixth place in the ranking. In 1978, taken from the album "The Crunch & Beyond" we remember the splendid "Electric Fling" then in 1983 another great song "Sam The Samba Man". The real international success came only in 1985 with "Clouds across the moon", a song recorded together with his wife Liz (aka Dizzy Lizzy), who took care of the vocal part.
