Nathalie, pseudonym of Nathalie Gabay, is a Belgian singer born in Brussels in 1956. At 14 she started working as a model for various commercials and at 16 she became the backing vocalist of the Italian singer Pino D’Angiò. In 1982, after auditioning with Plastic Bertrand, she recorded "L'amour O.K." with him. After meeting producer Peter Goodwyn during a television program, in 1983 she released his first solo single "Mon coeur qui crack" which was successful in Belgium, France, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. A few months later the single "My Love Won't Let You Down" was released which entered the Top 10 of all European countries. This will remain the most successful of Nathalie's career. Between 1985 and 1989 she performed on stage, in choirs and in the studio. She worked in Paris with the singer and musician Alain Chamfort. In 1988, she starred as an actress in John Berry's "The Ya Maldonne" in the role of lead actress. At the end of 1989 she participated in the TV series of the TF1 channel "Les vagabonds de la mer" filmed in the West Indies. Since then, she has devoted himself to photography and is currently art director for a high-end Brussels ready-to-wear brand.
