"Love De-Luxe" was a Disco Music project created by William Alan Hawkshaw in 1979. Hawkshaw was an English composer, producer and keyboardist, born in Leeds (West Yorkshire) on March 27, 1937. He worked as a typographer for several years before becoming a professional musician. His debut took place with the pop group "The Crescendos" then in the early 60s, he became a member of the Rock and Roll group "Emile Ford & The Checkmates". In 1965 Hawkshaw played the piano on the song "Put Yourself in My Place" by the group "The Hollies". In the 1970s he collaborated with Olivia Newton-John, Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg as musical director, arranger and pianist. He was keyboardist for Cliff Richard, for whom he wrote the song "The Days of Love" with Douggie Wright. In 1977 he played keyboards on Donna Summer's double album "Once Upon A Time". He composed numerous soundtracks for film and television. He also collaborated with David Bowie, Madeline Bell and Alec R. Costantinos on the album "Love & Kisses". In 1979 he created the “Love De-Luxe” project and the song “Here Comes That Sound Again” reached the first position in the American “Hot Dance Music / Club Play“ chart. The song was sung by Vicki Brown and Jo-Ann Stone and was part of the "Again And Again" album. In Europe, the Long Playing was released with the title "Again And Again" and on the cover of the disc were depicted two women embraced in lesbian attitudes while in the United States the album came out with the title "Here Comes That Sound Again" and on the cover were pictured cigarette packs.
