"La Bionda" is a musical duo formed by brothers Carmelo La Bionda and Michelangelo La Bionda and are considered among the inventors of Italo Disco music. The first steps in the world of music in the early 1970s, when they wrote song lyrics for Mia Martini, Ornella Vanoni and the Ricchi e Poveri. In 1974 they became record producers of "Amanda Lear" and helped the artist achieve great international success. In the mid-1970s they moved to Munich and arranged several pieces of disco music. They debuted under the pseudonym "D.D. Sound”, and they obtained a good international success thanks to the songs "Disco Bass", "1,2,3,4 ... Gimme Some More" and "Burning Love". "Disco Bass" in Italy was also the acronym of "La domenica sportiva". In 1978 they decided to abandon the "D.D.Sound" project and call themselves by their own name: "La Bionda" recording four albums in three years: "La Bionda", "Bandido", "High Energy" and "I Wanna Be Your Lover". From 1982 the brothers "La Bionda" will devote themselves to the composition and musical production of soundtracks of Italian films (Roba da Ricchi, Chi trova un amico trova un tesoro, Miami Supercops, Poliziotto Superpiù more ...). In 1983 they collaborated with the "Righeira" writing and producing the successes "Vamos a la playa", "No tiengo dinero" and "L’estate sta finendo".
