"Jungle Fever" is a 1971 song originally performed by the Belgian group "The Chakachas". The text was arranged and written by the producer Roland Kluger (under the name of Bill Ador) and published for the first time in Belgium on the independent label "Swineyard". The song reached eighth place in the 1972 U.S. chart and reached 29th in the UK. "Jungle Fever" was banned by the BBC because of that "heavy breathing" and "lament of the song". The single was a huge hit in America, selling over a million copies and won the Golden Disc by R.I.A. in March 1972. Billboard classified it as the number 51 song for the year 1972. In 1982, again in Belgium at RKM Studios, thanks to the producers Willy Albimoor and Alan Ward, "Jungle Fever" was remixed with more current sounds under the pseudonym "Kinkina". In 1987, under the Peter Waterman production and under the "Champion Record" label, the third makeover in the "Megamixes" version.
