John Forde is an English keyboard player famous for his 1979 album "Woman". He began working in the mid-seventies with Judge Dread, an established British reggae and ska musician. In 1977, John Forde released his first solo single under the "EMI" label: "Stardance / Flight Of The Jumping Bean". In 1978 the second single 7" titled "Atlantis" was released also under the label "EMI". In January 1979, "EMI UK" decided to create a special label called "Sidewalk" to promote the new genre mix records. dance. "Woman" by John Forde was one of the first albums released by the new label. Disc mix 12" contained three tracks: "Woman", "Stardance" and "Don't You Know Who Did It". he became a real filler of the 80's Afro-Funk discos.
