“Joe Yellow” is an Italo-Disco musical project created by Domenico Ricchini and the producers Roberto Turatti and Michele Chieregato. Domenico Ricchini was born in 1958 and formed his first Rock Band in 1974. Towards the end of the 70s he decided to move on to disco music and in 1980 he recorded his first dance song: "Flood" by "Delanuà". In that same year another single sung by Ricchini was released: “If Are You Master” by “Sivy Foster”. In 1982 he got noticed thanks to the single "Hookey" by "Sylvi Foster", a song that went very well in discos. Thanks to his friendship with Severo Lombardoni and the Turatti-Chieregato production, in 1983 he managed to make a decisive change in his career under the pseudonym "Joe Yellow". The single "Lover to Lover" entered the charts and obtained numerous radio plays both in Italy and abroad (particularly in Northern Europe). The project continued with the release of the singles “Take My Heart” (1984), “Recollection” (1985), “Love At First” (1986) and “I’m Your Lover” (1986). Since 1986, the project was produced by Mauro Farina and Giuliano Crivellente. There were numerous singers who gave voice to this musical project: Simon Luca, Elio Messina, Domenico Ricchini and Mauro Farina.
