Jimmie Orazio
Horne Jr., known as Jimmy "Bo" Horne, was born on September 28, 1949
in West Palm Beach (Florida) United States. The only child of two school
teachers, Jimmy graduated with a BA in Sociology from Bethune-Cookman
University in Daytona Beach in 1971. After his studies he moved to Miami to start his career as a recording
artist. Top of Jimmy "Bo" Horne's career came in the late 1970s with
the song "Dance Across The Floor". This song will be the only single
to enter the American “Top 10”. Written and produced by Harry Wayne
Casey of "KC and the Sunshine Band", "Dance Across the Floor"
went double gold. This success was followed by other big club hits like
"Gimme Some", "Is It In" and "Spank".
