Gregory Oliver Diamond was born on May 4, 1949 in Byan Mawr (Pennsylvania), United States. He was an American pianist, drummer, songwriter and producer active in the jazz and disco music scene in the 70s. In 1977 he founded the musical group "Bionic Boogie" and debuted with the album "masterpiece" with the title of the same name. "Dance Little Dreamer", "Risky Changes", "Boogie Boo", "We Must Believe In Magic" and the other 4 tracks complete one of the most beautiful funk albums. In 1978, the second Bionic Boogie album was released: Hot Butterfly with Luther Vandross as lead vocal. In 1979 "Tiger Tiger" was released, the third and final album of "Bionic Boogie". Gregg Diamond died of gastrointestinal bleeding on March 14, 1999 at the age of 49.
