Betty Miranda, pseudonym of Miranda Gobbetto, was born on May 19, 1959. Her career in the world of music began in 1976, with her first radio experiences on radio Riviera, radio Rimini and radio Sabbia. In 1982, with his friends Claudio Cecchetto and Gerry Scotti, he collaborated in the birth of Radio DeeJay in Milan. In 1983 he won the national competition "Supersfida DJ" for Radio Due, conducting the program in the evening. In that same year she was the only woman to be part of a group of 10 DJs, the "Band Of Jocks" with the song "Let's All Dance". Also in 1983, he conducted music broadcasts on TV on Rai 3 ("Hit '83" and "di gei musica") and on Canale 5 (Pop corn). In her career, Betty Miranda recorded 3 singles with the “Band Of Jocks” and as many as a soloist. In 1984 he met Elvio Pieri and Romano Bais, and together they began to work on a project for an Italo-Disco song. Romano Bais wrote and arranged "Take me to the top", which became a success in Italy and won gold in France. In Germany, the song was released by "Flarenasch" and "ZYX". Thanks to this success, Betty Miranda organized a 40-night tour. The second single, "Dance", was also produced in 1985 by Elvio Pieri on the label "Many Records". In 1986, the third and last song as a soloist: "S.O.S.". She was one of the first female DJs to work in a nightclub. The first places where Betty worked as a DJ were the “Paradiso” and the “Rock Island” of Rimini. In Milan he also worked for various advertising studios, lending his voice to national commercials. It has presented various events and conventions. Her passion for the sea brought her back to Rimini and Thailand, where she worked as a diving guide. Since 1993 he has collaborated periodically with Radio San Marino.
