Welcome to the official website of Ciancio D.J. In the
MUSIC section you can consult, listen and see the music videos of the most
danced songs of the last forty years, ranging from Funk and Afro music of the
70s, to Discomusic and Dance, from 1979 to 2023. In the CINEMA section you will
find all the sheets of my favorite films, from the last century to the most
recent. The DJ MIXES section offers you the opportunity to listen to my mixed
programs for free. The site is subject to periodic updates in all its sections,
so if you are curious to take a tour, you are welcome.

Ciancio DJ has curated a selection of a thousand Dance songs for you, according to his tastes and his profound musical knowledge. This will allow you to relive over forty years of disco music, listening to the tracks again and enjoying the related music videos, from Donna Summer to Lady Gaga. The "Afro" and "Funk" selections instead offer a journey through the songs that marked the history of discos, from the 70s to the early 80s. The other genres, such as "House", "Techno" and "Underground", range from the late 80s to the late 90s.
In the artists' biographies, divided into four musical categories (Italo-Disco, Dance '80, Electro-Afro and Disco Music), you will find constantly updated insights, including news, curiosities, discographies and music videos. My passion for cinema
Since I was a child I have cultivated
a passion for cinema, watching numerous films both on videocassette and at the
cinema. I remember that I kept a notebook in which I wrote down the ratings and
profiles of the films I saw. To date, I have had the opportunity to watch
approximately 8,000 films, and I want to share with you the ones I consider
"The Unmissables." I have divided them by genre and classified them
according to my personal tastes...

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF CIANCIO DJ
Ciancio DJ alias Antonio Stanzani was born in Bologna and has cultivated his passion for music since adolescence. In the early '80s he bought his first records by wandering around the numerous specialized shops in his city.

80's - THE FIRST PROGRAMS
MIXED IN AUDIOTAPE
The first programs mixed in audiotape were the "Dance" and the "Electro-Afro", then later the "Funky", the "Afro" and the beautiful "The Best Of Music".
90's - THE PASSAGE
TO THE DIGITAL
At the beginning of the 90’s, after the advent of Compact Disc media, the first digital recorders began to emerge and the quality of the recordings greatly improved.

In the early 80's, his parents gave him the first stereo complete with record players and from that moment it starts his great passion for music and vinyl records.
