Il progetto musicale "Deborah Haslam" fu fondato nel 1984 dal musicista e compositore veronese Giuliano Crivellente in collaborazione con il produttore Mauro Farina.
Il brano "Let Me Trouble" fu cantato in studio di registrazione da Elena Ferretti. Elena è nata nel 1960 a San Donato Milanese ed è stata una poliedrica cantante italiana attiva nel contesto della musica Eurobeat e Italo-Disco degli anni '80. La sua carriera è stata segnata da una vasta gamma di pseudonimi, tra cui "Rose", "Sophie", "Helen" e "Helena". Cresciuta nell'ambito musicale fin da adolescente, ha iniziato a cantare nei cori della chiesa e, a soli 20 anni, ha avuto l'opportunità di sostituire Rossana Casale come corista di Loredana Bertè.
Nei primi anni '80, la Ferretti ha svolto il ruolo di corista in vari progetti e ha prestato la sua voce a numerosi jingle pubblicitari. La svolta decisiva nella sua carriera è avvenuta a 23 anni, quando ha incontrato il produttore Mauro Farina, il quale le ha proposto di registrare brani dance. Da quel momento in poi, ha adottato una molteplicità di nomi d'arte, tra cui Angie Davies, Barbara Maniscalch, Deborah Haslam, e molti altri. Elena ha collaborato con Clara Moroni, una prolifica compositrice, in molte delle sue produzioni. Insieme, hanno formato il duo "Gipsy & Queen".
La sua presenza nella scena musicale non si è limitata solo alla sua carriera solista, ma ha partecipato a numerosi gruppi musicali come Andrea & Baby Girls, Giselle, Go Go Girls, Radiorama e altri. La sua versatilità e la sua influenza nella musica Eurobeat e Italo-Disco, insieme alla sua prolifica collaborazione con diversi artisti e gruppi, hanno contribuito in modo significativo a plasmare il panorama musicale degli anni '80.
